The Pumkin is a Knishkin. What is a Knishkin? A Knishkin is one of 40 or so unrecognized breeds of cat. "The Pumkin is a pure bred Knishkin." (That's what the lady outside the supermarket said as she gave  4-week old The Pumkin and his Knishkin sibs away.) Knishkin characteristics include devilish scurrying around, lots of purring, even while biting off your ankles, terminal cuteness, and, oh yes, and sleeping. Lots of sleeping. Knishkins especially love to cuddle up with their owners at night - to wake them up. Feb 2, 2002.
